The DK2 Story

Danielle Knox is the creator and founder of DK2 Design, a creative agency that welcomes the opportunity to create compelling design pieces in a variety of mediums from print to web.

Danielle named her company using the initials she shares with her father, David Knox, a world-renowned graphic designer. DK2 represents the tradition, creativity and love of design that Danielle shares with her father.

Born in 1977, Danielle grew up in the advertising environment. She remembers helping her father color posters, participating in photo shoots and watched him create mock-ups and client presentations.

In 1998, Danielle decided to follow her dream of “coloring for a living” and enrolled at The Art Institute of Phoenix. She landed a freelance job at Action Performance in 1999, starting with clipping paths on each product to be placed in a catalog and eventually expanded to designing catalogs, posters and website announcements for new products being released.

Danielle graduated from the Art Institute in 2007 with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design and hit the work force, hoping to make her mark on the design world. Since graduating, she has worked for quality agencies such as Mach10 Media, Winward Communications, Logan Simpson Design, AIR Marketing (formally HMI), The Art Institute of Phoenix, Vcommerce, SelectShops, iHeartMedia, Arizona State Fair and EminentSEO while designing for a variety of media including websites, email blasts, banner ads, direct mail pieces, collateral and print advertisements.

In her free time, Danielle enjoys other forms of artistic expression such as music, theatre, customizing wedding invitations and more. Her love of art and her knack for creativity shine through in every project she creates, and she takes pride the high quality and level of attention to detail she pours into her work.
